I hope everyone was able to have a great Thanksgiving break that included lots and lots of rest for all of you.
I am writing to let you know that I will be out of town the week of Monday, Dec. 6th - 10th. My older son will be playing on a 12u team in the national football tournament in Florida.
I will be discussing what the expectations will be for my students with them tomorrow morning. It would be so helpful if you also could go over them with your child as well?
Each day, please encourage your child to:
1. Follow directions quickly,
-From all teachers, staff, and assigned students
2. Be respectful to ALL teachers, adults, and each other
-Students will use I-messages with each other when they have disagreements. Students will ask a teacher for help when they don't work.
3. Be respectful to yourself and others
-No mean comments and no hitting,
4. Stay on task by completing all assignments
-All assignments will be found on google classroom as usual or worksheets from the classroom
5. Listen to ALL directions.
-From all staff and student helpers. Even if they sound a little bossy
6. Act the same way you would (or better) if Mrs. Coleman was there.

As an incentive, we will be having treats on Monday I return for all students who have exhibited good behavior. That means students who end up on parent contact 3 times, will not be permitted to attend.
I am also asking for some donations that will help the class out while I am away. Please click on the link to see if you can help.
Class Donations
I believe my students will make great choices as long as they know their parents and teacher are on the same page and are working together to encourage good behavior and hard work.
You will be able to reach me via Remind. if you have any questions or if anything happens with technology as it usually does.
Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to discuss a plan for your child.
